Executive Committee

ROLE OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
  • The Executive Committee shall consist of the Chairman, two Vice-Chairmen, the General Secretary, the Joint-Secretary and the Treasurer to be elected by the Electoral College after every three years.
  • The Executive Committee shall have the power to constitute various Sub-Committees -- Technical Committee, Purchase Committee, Finance Committee, Publicity & Media Advisory Committee in order to realize the objectives of the Society.
  • The Executive Committee shall be responsible for running the day to day business of the Society and for such conduct of business they shall utilize the powers of the Managing Committee as may be necessary for such purpose.
  • Prof. Mehraj-ud-din was elected founder Chairman of the Society for a period of three years.

This Committee over all monitors functions of the Society including the holding of Public Awareness Programmes/Mass Screening & Free Endoscopy Camp and coordinates functions of all other Committees to achieve the objectives of the Society. The Committee is assisted in respect of office management and maintenance of its record by an Administrative Officer and an Office Assistant. The office staff also supplements assistance to Endoscopy, Ultrasonography and Lower G.I.Endoscopy (Colono/Sigmoidoscopy) teams at the Diagnostic Centre Lal Mandi, Srinagar as well.
