Membership
- The Society shall have an Honorary Life Patron. Khawaja Sona-Ullah was elected by
voice vote the first Honorary Life Patron.
- Membership of the Society shall be open to any person or anybody, Corporate or Association
of Persons.
- There shall be following categories of Members of the Society: -
- Founder Members : - who have paid subscription of Rs 10,000 signed the Constitution/attended
the first meeting of the Society.
- Life Members : - paid Subscription of Rs 10,000 and have not signed the constitution.
- Annual Members : - paid Subscription of Rs 1,000 for a period of one year. The same
can be renewed by paying the same amount or as decided by the Managing Committee
from time to time.
The Managing Committee may also admit student volunteers from Universities, Colleges
and Schools of the State without any subscription
Associate Members : -
- Professionals Members: - Professional in all fields can be for one year and has
to pay subscription of Rs. 100.
- Non-Professional Members: -
- Under-Graduates: - Subscription Rs 300 Membership valid for Academic Period.
- Post-graduates : - Subscription Rs 500 Membership valid for Academic Period.
- Post-Doctoral :- Subscription Rs 800 Membership valid for Academic Period.
- Volunteers :- Students of Universities, Colleges and Schools of the State.
Applications for Membership of the Society shall be made on prescribed form to the
Chairman and accompanied by payment of the Subscription for the 1st year of Membership
or a single payment for Life Membership, which shall be returned in the event of
the application of Membership being rejected/refused.
The Managing Committee shall have absolute power and discretion in deciding upon
any application and its decision shall be final and it shall not be bound to give
any reasons for its decision.
The Managing Committee may from time to time fix the Annual or Life Subscription
to be paid by various categories of Members.
The Society will initially have 200 members including Founder Members in the first
instance. However, the General Body can increase the number of members from time
to time.
The Managing Committee shall have powers to allow any new life member to pay the
Membership Subscription in maximum of three installments within one year from the
date of enrollment.
A member shall cease to be member of the Society.
- If the subscription for the life membership has not been paid by the member within
twelve months.
- If the Member resigns in writing.
- In case of death of a Member.
- On conviction for criminal offence/moral turpitude.
- If the member is active in politics.
The Managing Committee shall have powers to remove any member founder or any other
or any Office-Bearer of the Society by 2/3rd majority if it considers that the activities
of such member(s) are detrimental to the interest of the Society. Such a member(s)
will have no legal right whatsoever against the decision of the Managing Committee.
The Society shall maintain a register in which names and addresses of all its Members
shall be entered.
